IT之家 3 月 18 日消息，雖然 Adobe Flash 已經宣告“死亡”，但出于懷舊等各種理由，依然有不少用戶對這個過時、存在諸多漏洞的 Flash 感興趣。開發(fā)者近日推出了名為 Ruffle 的開源項目，利用 Rust 編程語言來安全地模擬對 Flash 的支持。
Adobe 于 2020 年正式停止對 Flash 的支持之后，也出現了 Gnash 和 Lightspark 等開源項目。
Ruffle 是一個用 Rust 編寫的 Flash Player 模擬器，可以在所有主要操作系統(tǒng)上運行，并且通過 WebAssembly 也可以在現代網絡瀏覽器中運行。由于 Rust 的內存安全保證，他們認為這是 Flash 的安全實現。
Ruffle 于上周公布了第一份進度報告，可以運行數十款基于 ActionScript 2 的游戲，此外也開始添加對 ActionScript 3 的改進，并優(yōu)化移動設備的顯示效果。
